Digital Skills in Northern Ireland examines the level of digital skills of people aged 16 and over in Northern Ireland.

Latest results

The latest digital skills statistics were released on 30th November 2023, and contained analysis of the level of digital skills of people aged 16 and over in Northern Ireland for the period April 2022 to March 2023, as sourced from the Continuous Household Survey (CHS). Additional analysis of digital skills levels is also provided for sex, age, labour market status, deprivation quintile (least and most deprived), disability status, and qualification level.

Continuous Household Survey - background

The Continuous Household Survey (CHS) is an annual sample survey, designed to provide a regular source of information on a wide range of issues relevant to Northern Ireland, such as internet access, the environment, tourism, libraries, health, sport, and education.
