Statistics: 2021 Census, Results, Main statistics
This theme provides estimates for a number of census topics including average household size, household spaces, accommodation type, adaptation of accommodation, car or van availability, central heating, renewable energy systems, and tenure, as well as a historical breakdown of household size for Northern Ireland.
Data are available for Northern Ireland and the 11 Local Government Districts. The tables on households, household size, and household spaces have been updated to include data for Data Zones, Super Data Zones, and District Electoral Areas. Selected tables have been updated to include settlement and electoral ward data – download all main statistics tables available at settlement and electoral ward geographies.
