Analysis of NICS Recruitment Competitions 2023

This report, published on 27 March 2024, summarises applications for and appointments from NICS recruitment competitions across various equality categories. Further analysis is presented in the report relating to the various stages of recruitment competitions between application and appointment. The report covers competitions which were closed to further activity between 1 January 2023 and 31 December 2023.

Correction Notice 14.06.2024 and 25.06.2024

Following a change in methodology to the Analysis of the NICS Recruitment Competitions Report, an error was identified in the list of competitions that were to be included in the analysis. An updated final list of competitions to be included was provided. Upon further scrutiny it was discovered that a competition was incorrectly included in the final list. The Analysis of NICS Recruitment Competitions 2023 report has been corrected. NISRA apologises for any inconvenience this error may have caused to users of this report.
