Working and workless households in NI: April to June 2024

The Labour Force Survey (LFS) household results were released at 9.30am today.

The most common type of households in April to June 2024 were couples with children (33%) and couples with no children (25%).

Over half (55%) of households in Northern Ireland in April to June 2024 were work rich (all household members aged 16 or over were employed) and 16% were workless (where all household members aged 16 or over were unemployed or inactive).
