Publication page for training

Date published: 05 August 2021

Statistics:

The title should be short and specific, and accurately describe the publication.

Details

The title will become the URL so make sure it is unique and makes sense in isolation.

Entering text here is optional for your publication. You can tag a relevant statistics theme in the statistics field above (for example, I have tagged this publication to 'Taxonomy page for training').

You must select the type of publication (for example statistical reports) and enter date of publication (this will be the date you are going to publish this page and its contents).

You can also create an information notice, and you should only have one on a page. When you have written the text for your information notice, highlight it and select information notice under the styles option in the tool bar.

This is an optional summary.

There are three types of publication pages:

  • publication
  • secure statistics
  • secure market sensitive statistics.

A publication page for embargoed information should be created using either secure statistics or secure market sensitive statistics (for ELMS staff).

All attachment file names should be hyphenated and not contain spaces or underscores (for example, I have called the pdf document Test-bulletin-August-2021). All attachment files must meet accessibility standards.

If you need to replace an attachment (for example, because of errors in the original document you uploaded) use the edit option, which allows the attachment to be replaced without changing the URL. Select edit and choose the file option to browse to upload the replacement. Ensure that ‘keep original file name’ is ticked and then hit save. Using the remove option and adding a new attachment with the same name will add _0 to the URL.

The Remove option removes the attachment from the Publication page. However it does not delete it from the site and anyone can still view it by using its URL. Therefore if you want to remove any attachment, search for it in the File List within Drupal and delete it from there.

To schedule a publication page, make sure that it is at the ‘needs review’ stage, then select the 'Moderate' tab and note the number of the revision you want to publish (there may only be one). Select the 'Schedule' tab and then select ‘Add scheduled revision’, and from the Revision drop-down, select the appropriate revision number. From the Operation menu select 'Moderate to Published' and then enter a date (such as 2021-08-31) and time (09:30) for the scheduled operation to occur and click 'Schedule'.
