The Labour Force Survey (LFS) household results were released at 9.30am today.
The most common type of households in January-March 2024 were couples with children (34%), couples with no children (25%), and single person households (also 25%).
Over half (57%) of households in Northern Ireland in January-March 2024 were work rich (all household members aged 16 or over were employed) and 14% were workless (where all household members aged 16 or over were unemployed or inactive).
