Accessibility statement for the Flexible Table Builder

This accessibility statement applies to the Flexible Table Builder application, hosted at build.nisra.gov.uk which is run by the Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA).

There may be some accessibility issues when browsing the application for the following reasons:

  • there are some instances where focus state was not visible throughout the site (WCAG 2.1, Level AA, 2.4.7)
  • some dynamic content is fully inaccessible to keyboard users (WCAG 2.1, Level A, 2.1.1) 

Some accessibility issues are related to the underlying Flexible Table Builder software and will require developer and web design input. The underlying software used for the Flexible Table Builder is expected to be updated regularly and it is anticipated that any accessibility issues flagged will be addressed in future development.

How we tested this website

This application was tested for compliance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.1 level A and level AA, and Microsoft accessibility guidelines.  These tests have been carried out externally and independently.

What we’re doing to improve accessibility

We continue to monitor feedback on accessibility and updates to accessibility guidelines.

Any issues on accessibility grounds have and will continue to be raised with the developer of the software.

Accessibility issues will be considered in future iterations of the software.
